Around 1730, Les Houches created a new parish, separated from the one in Chamonix. It was placed under the patronage of St Jean-Baptiste. The church was consecrated in 1766.
DescriptionIts outside architecture is characterised by its sobriety. The facade of the church is very typical of the baroque style.
Inside, you will discover a unique nave, a wooden central altarpiece, sculptured and painted by Jean Baptiste Bozzo. Stained glasses and the Way of the Cross are works of the 30s.
All year round, daily between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm.
