A steep walk taking you into the Carlaveyron Nature Reserve. Wonderful
sweeping views.

Near the entrance to the Park on the Chamonix side, walk up alongside the fence, then follow the path on the right to Bel Lachat and Le Brevent for 10 minutes. Then leave this path and take the horizontal path on the left for 400 m. Next, head right into the forest and after a half-hour uphill section, you will come to the Chailloux path and the itinerary described above.

Suggestion • You can continue on to Le Brevent, above Bel Lachat and come down via Pierre Blanche.
