This is a short but difficult route. It uses a footpath which starts behind the terrace of the snack-bar of the Bellevue cable car.
DescriptionThe difficulty lies in the obstacles and the hard physical nature of the track ; the aim is to do it without putting a foot down. However, it may be necessary to dismount to cross some abrupt schist (rock fissures), about halfway down, where you will need to be very careful. Once you have reached the Col du Mont-Lachat, you can easily push on to the summit 2 115 m. The aerial view points are exceptional all along the route. Return by the same way. Very technical, very physical, the best bikers don’t put a foot down except to cross the schist at Mont-Lachat.
