The High-Mountain Office team welcomes mountaineers and hikers all year round and provides them with up to date moutain information.
DescriptionThe High Moutain Office (OHM) was set up by the Chamonix guide Gérard Devouassoux. Following a particularly distressing mountaineering season in 1971 people wanted to find a solution, which would preserve freedom but also would limit and reduce mountain accidents.

Every day throughout the year.
Closed on Sunday.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
On January 2021, the high mountain office is open from Monday to Saturday from 9am to noon and from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
