On our terrace or by the fireplace, the Caillet chalet welcomes you every day from June to September and from december to April only on reservation. The Caillet has been a historical halfway point between Chamonix and the mer de glace for over 100 years and it is the perfect place to stop. Access only by foot!

We cater to VIP events for groups of 8 to 12 people (more, contact us!)
After a 2 hours snowshoe treck leading by a mountain guide, we will host you at the "ice bar" for a hot drink, diner and evening by the fireplace in the chalet. Torchlight descent until Chamonix.

It is the perfect place to stop for adults and children alike.
We do traditional recipes with a twist and our outdoor wood fired oven never fails to seduce hikers passing by. Our menu is varied and our dishes all have a local twist.
We serve lunch and snacks as well as aperitif and appetisers in the evening. You can also book the whole chalet for private evening events.
New this summer: come and try to sleep in the canopy facing the mountains!
