SKIING AT LES HOUCHES

The domain of Les Houches extends from an altitude of 950m to 1900m. From the summit one has a spectacular 360° view of the Mont-Blanc massive. And with 55 km of slopespistes meandering through the forests, you will discover the real pleasures of skiing.
When necessary, artificial snow coverage is assured by 120 snow maker machines covering 23 hectares

Le Tourchet

For beginners, les Houches offers the Tourchet slope, situated at the center of the village.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

The cross country skiing in les Houches is free.
The village of les Houches prepares cross country skiing tracks by the lake of Chavants (2.8km). The lift companies prepares a 4.2 kilometer track up at the prarion plateau at 1800 meters.

ESF the French ski school proposes lessons in a group or alone with a instructor.

Most of the sport shops in les Houches rents out cross country ski equipment.

The resort possesses 3 ski jumps :

15, 30 et 50 m.
Ski jumping was the first sport practised by the Ski Club of Les Houches when it was founded in 1930.
