DescriptionAttention ! Avant de partir, consultez les conditions de la montagne sur le site de l'Office de Haute-Montagne www.chamoniarde.com ou par téléphone au +33 (0)4 50 53 22 08 et les prévisions météo sur notre site.

Starts from Les Houches train station. Hike to take a right by the small dam of Les Houches , follow the road "Chemin des Eaux Rousses" next to the Arve.A wide gentle trail by the Arve river that finished by the lake of Gaillands. The path then leads down, bringing you out level with the Pont de Clair-Temps
(railway bridge) : continue along this flat path, past the landslide of red boulders,
and through a meadow at the foot of the Lapaz ravine opposite the village of
les Montquarts. Follow the Arve to les Bossons below the Vouillouds couloir. The forestry track then crosses through a small wood and skirts round les Gaillands taking the Promenade a l’Anglais: rock climbing, lakes refreshments. Take the road through the village of les Pecles which brings you into Chamonix at the Lionel Terray roundabout.
Return by the same route 2 h, or with public transports.
